  • Please bring your insurance card, driver’s license, and a credit or debit card to put on file.

What to expect during your sleep study:

  • In order to make your stay as comfortable and efficient as possible, feel free to bring any of the following with you: Pillows, blankets, bedding, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrush, shower clogs, and other toiletries. For those who will need to go straight to work from our facility, each room is connected to a private bathroom, shower included.

  • To encourage healthy sleep habits, our rooms are not equipped with televisions. You may bring books, magazines, a small radio, or a Wi-Fi capable tablet to occupy your time until lights out.
  • If you take any medications at nighttime or first thing in the morning, please bring them with you and take them at our facility.
  • Patients must be in stable medical condition during any sleep study. Please let us know with as much advanced notice as possible if you are feeling ill.
  • A more detailed list of what to bring and what to expect may be found [here]

Payment Information

  • Your copay will be expected at the time of your visit.
  • Our office does not send out paper statements, but you will be sent an explanation of benefits from your insurance company detailing the breakdowns and financial responsibilities from your office visits. Having a credit card on file allows us to focus more on patient care by reducing time spent on collections.
  • If you are sick or unable to keep your sleep study appointment, for any reason, please call our office at least 24 hours in advance of your appointment. If you do not show for your sleep study and have given no advanced notice, we reserve the right to charge a no-show fee.
  • Patients are responsible for checking with their insurance provider to determine to what extent the costs of their sleep studies and office visits will be covered.
  • Some insurance providers may require a referral or precertification for office visits and sleep studies. If you are unsure what your insurance company requires, please contact us in advance of your appointment.
  • If you have any other questions or concerns, please contact our billing department at (913) 777-0077.
